Environment

In an effort to embrace the transition to more sustainable energy sources and support our customers on their path to Net Zero, we allocate resources and focus our innovation efforts on tackling today's energy challenges. We also work to minimise any negative impacts our operations might have on the environment.

Driving change

At ComAp, we are committed not only to reducing our own environmental impact but also to helping customers lower their emissions through our products. ComAp has one of the largest R&D departments in the industry, with environmental sustainability as a core value.  As such, we strive to make our solutions more efficient, reduce emissions, and decrease the use of fossil fuels in traditional energy generation.

Our priorities are:

  • Reducing fossil fuel use through existing products.
  • Developing new products and services that support the energy transition.

The energy industry is undergoing one of the most important transitions. As a company determined to lead the way in smart energy management, we have committed to reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030, while also increasing our revenue from EU Taxonomy-eligible business to above 50% by 2030. Furthermore, ComAp’s ambitions are to achieve NetZero across scope 1 and 2 by 2035 and to find solutions for reducing absolute Scope 3 emissions by 20% by 2030.

We ensure that our key suppliers adhere to stringent environmental standards, including:

  • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
  • RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
  • REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) certifications.

End-user Safety and Product Quality

We demonstrate a strong commitment to end-user safety and product quality through our comprehensive approach to product development and certification.

  • Continuously optimises its logistics worldwide.
  • Has implemented efficient and recyclable packaging in the Prague warehouse and is preparing internal guidance to standardise the process across all global locations.
