Emulation Tool

Order code: EMULATIONTOOL, Available to download via InteliConfig.

The ComAp Emulation Tool is a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) solution that allows customers to test, validate, and commission controller configurations without the need for physical gensets, switchboards, or complex site setups. It uses predefined ComAp site models and seamless InteliConfig integration to let users simulate site behaviour with just a few clicks.

Extended feature Support of Emulation Tool (order code SKEMTOOLXXX) is required in all controllers connected to Emulation Tool.

  • Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Emulation — tests real controller firmware behaviour
  • Full InteliConfig Integration
  • Predefined Site Models ready to use
  • On-Site Time and Cost Reduction
    Emulation Tool

Emulation Tool unlocks the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) emulation capability in your ComAp controller. The running model simulates real power system behaviour — adding calculated signals to the control loop as if the controller were working with real technology.

  • Based on a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) approach: actual ComAp controllers are connected via Ethernet to a PC running InteliConfig
  • Testing and validation of complex multi-genset sites before commissioning
  • Hands-on training without physical gensets or switchboards
  • Pre-sales demonstrations of ComAp controller capabilities
  • Firmware validation and feature verification
  • Technical support of customer archives and configurations

Supported site models:

  • H-Topology
  • M-Topology
  • MINT
  • SPtM
  • Double Bus
  • Full Microgrid
  • MPtM
