MainsPro and InteliPro Fully Compliant with G99TT
MainsPro and InteliPro Fully Compliant with G99TT
04. 10. 2019
The Energy Networks Association (ENA) issued new Engineering Recommendation G99 as an upgrade of the G59 standard recommendations. The new G99, which is applicable for all decentralized energy resources (generation equipment) in parallel with public distribution networks, came into effect on April 27, 2019.
G99 follows the assimilation of the EU Commission Regulation on harmonising network standards known as Requirements for Generators (RfG) into GB Distribution and Grid Codes.
ComAp´s
MainsPro
and
InteliPro
protection relays are fully compliant with the new G99 recommendations. In addition, ComAp has released a new Type Tested relay
MainsPro G99TT
with set and locked Frequency, Voltage and Loss of Mains protection settings from production. The
MainsPro G99TT
minimizes the commissioning expenses as there is no witness test required.
In case changes to the protection settings in
MainsPro G99TT
are required, IPU Group’s specifically trained personnel is authorised to visit the site and open, change and re-seal the unit on-site.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact Ian Wassman, Protections Product Manager at IPU Group, ComAp HQ directly or visit the product webpages:
